As we wind down another fantastic year at Zenoss, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the opportunities we had as a team to give back to our communities that give us so much! Through Zenoss Cares, Zenossians were engaged monthly in various opportunities giving back to the communities that give us so much!
Zenoss Cares gives employees an opportunity to step outside of their day-to-day work responsibilities and, in the process, become more engaged and work more collaboratively with others across departments. It's been proven that when we feel challenged to use different skills and develop new competencies, we feel more satisfied and happier in our careers as well as more engaged in the communities where we all live, work and play.
This year, Zenoss spent time assembling summer camp kits at the Thinkery, packaging thousands of pounds of grapefruits and oranges at the Central Texas Foodbank, cleaning up thousands of pounds of highway trash for our Adopt a Highway program, collecting school supplies for local children in need, and partnering with Nutanix at our annual GalaxZ18 conference to support Girls in Tech.
We are reminded through these monthly volunteering opportunities how much impact we can each have and how fantastic it feels to give back and take care of our community. We are all thankful to be part of such a great team of professionals at Zenoss who embrace servant leadership as part of our company culture.
