This ZenPack will monitor the IBMV7000 Storwize. In the instalation process will create a new device class organizer "/Storage/IBMV7000" with local defined configuration properties.
A user account is required in order to login against the IBMV7000 SSH service. The account only requires a low level permission ("Monitor" User Group). This can be achieved by adding/changing a user within the web console, browsing menu:
Use the account in the follow Configurations Properties
Altough the IBMV7000 SSH service can also be authenticated with SSH Keys.
$ sudo su - zenoss
$ zenpack --install ZenPacks.community.IBMV7000-*.egg
$ zenoss restart
In order to do a development mode installation you will want to clone the existing git repository, and then use the --link flag with the zenpack command:
$ git clone git://github.com/emcrispim/ZenPacks.community.IBMV7000.git
$ zenpack --link --install ZenPacks.community.IBMV7000
