Austin, TX – September 9, 2014 – Zenoss Inc., the leading provider of unified monitoring and analytics solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT infrastructure and applications, today announced it has named David Loia as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Patrick Emerson as Vice President of Business Development and Channels.

David Loia brings an impressive track record of revenue growth at enterprise software companies that have successfully achieved hyper-growth organically and through acquisition, gone public, and been acquired, including Humantelligence, Next IT, RightNow Technologies, and Siebel Systems. David began his software career at NASA AMES, Procter & Gamble, and Oracle. David holds a MS Engineering from Stanford University, and a MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Patrick Emerson has joined Zenoss as Vice President of Business Development and Channels. His charter will be to create and develop revenue generating relationships with strategic partners, as well as with regional channel partners on a global basis.
Pat spent the past 8 years at EMC where he had worldwide responsibility for EMC’s GSI relationships and all Channels & Alliances for the Americas. He helped reinvigorate EMC’s relationships with Capgemini and Deloitte, tripling revenue through these partners over the past three years. Prior to EMC, Pat held positions as VP of Sales and Business Development for Troux Technologies, DataBeam (acquired by Lotus Development), Octel Communications (acquired by Lucent), and Software Publishing. Pat studied in the computer-based management systems BS program at Clarkson University.
