AUSTIN, Texas - January 31, 2024 - Zenoss Inc., a leader in AI-driven full-stack monitoring, today announced Rama Vykunta as the company’s chief technology officer.
Vykunta is an artificial intelligence expert and a veteran technology professional with more than 25 years of experience leading the design, architecture, development and delivery of leading software solutions for IT operations professionals. In his role as CTO, he will be responsible for driving the Zenoss vision and innovation for the Zenoss AIOps platform.
Prior to joining Zenoss, Vykunta held leadership roles in product, architecture and engineering at companies like IBM, NetHeartBeat and Orillion. He was responsible for delivering IBM's PureApplication System, which is a workload-aware, flexible and tightly integrated enterprise cloud platform. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Tivoli Application Performance Management and Distributed Monitoring product line.

Vykunta holds both a master's and bachelor's in computer science from universities in the U.S. and India. He started his career as a software developer in the Telco OSS space building complex distributed systems and then transitioned into enterprise software that focused on delivering end-user value by solving complex problems with large-scale distributed systems, platforms and technologies.
