Austin, TX – December 2, 2014 – Zenoss Inc., the leading provider of unified monitoring and analytics solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT infrastructure and applications, today announced that renowned futurist Michio Kaku will keynote at GalaxZ ’15, Zenoss’ inaugural user conference, May 4-7 at the W Hotel in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Kaku graduated at the top of his physics class at Harvard University in 1968, and finished his Ph.D. in 1972 at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, Dr. Kaku is the Henry Semat Professor of Theoretical Physics at the City College of New York. During his academic career, he has published over 70 papers on various topics such as superstring theory, supergravity, supersymmetry, and hadronic physics, and is the co-founder of string field theory. He has also taught physics at several prestigious institutions, including Harvard, New York University, and Princeton.
Dr. Kaku has hosted the weekly radio programs “Explorations” and “Science Fantastic.” Science Fantastic is one of the largest syndicated science broadcasts in the world, airing in over 130 stations. He has also made multiple appearances in both television and film. His television appearances include PBS’s NOVA, the BBC’s Horizon, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Discovery Channel’s How the Universe Works, and the Emmy-nominated documentary “Me & Isaac Newton.” He is also the author of three New York Times Best Sellers: “Physics of the Impossible,” “Physics of the Future,” and “Future of the Mind.”
