Senior Software Developer
- Open Position:
Zenoss is looking for a Senior Software Developer that will focus on designing and implementing new features for Zenoss Enterprise and Core.
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Building Web 2.0 applications using dynamic languages
- Designing new features and functionality
- Learning new technologies quickly

- Qualifications include:
- 5+ years programming experience with excellent understanding of OO concepts

Product Marketing Manager
- Open Position:
Zenoss is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with a track record of out-of-the-box marketing innovation and a passion for driving results.
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Primary responsibility for sales readiness of Zenoss products
- Provide product positioning materials, market messages, and training for the sales organization
- Develop standardized sales scripts, email templates, presentations, proposals

Marketing Programs Manager
- Open Position:
Zenoss is seeking a creative Marketing Programs Manager to help us drive demand and revenue for our Unlegacy IT enterprise management products for the virtual and cloud-based dynamic datacenter.
The ideal candidate will launch multi-channel campaigns to generate new prospects and nurture existing prospects.
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and execute integrated demand generation marketing campaigns to support the marketing pipeline and revenue targets, focusing on webinars, third party syndication, email campaigns, advertising programs and trade shows
- Serve as the point person in the planning process, working with marketing, product management, sales and outside vendors as necessary to achieve program objectives
- Implement an ongoing communication program to our prospect database with a mix of email and telemarketing
- Conduct program ROI (return on investment) analysis to assess the success of marketing tactics
- Work with the sales team to ensure that they are briefed on marketing programs and have the right tools to follow up as required
- Qualifications include:
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years B2B marketing experience, ideally with a software company
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems a plus
- Ability to write copy and work with a design team to develop email creative and landing pages
- Quantitative skills required in the area of database analysis, lead conversion and return on investment
- Highly detail oriented with exceptional project management and organizational skills

Inbound Marketing Manager

Market Development Representative
- Open Position:
Zenoss is looking for a talented market developer who can process, identify, and qualify sales opportunities for our open source IT management software and distribute qualified leads to the sales organization for action. This role requires a motivated self-starter capable of making things happen and delivering results. This is an outbound lead qualification position - you must be comfortable on the phone and motivated to contact prospects via multiple methods in order to achieve your targets.
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process, identify and qualify leads into sales opportunities
- Be comfortable and proficient in identifying key decision makers across various organizations and uncovering the compelling events that will drive qualified opportunities for our sales organization
- Be confident in positioning our open source IT management products and value proposition to IT operations prospects from the operator level to the executive level
- Manage a large and growing database of leads in Sugar CRM, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
- Develop qualified leads by researching, profiling, cold calling, and networking targeted companies/contacts

Product Manager
- Open Position:
The Product Manager plays the leadership role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors in the marketplace, and participates in the entire lifecycle of the product, working closely with development teams from product initiation to delivery to eventual product retirement. He/she will research and listen to existing customers, prospects, and the market at large, then articulate product strategy and needs in the form of product requirements. Product Managers also work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure that product features, benefits, and positioning are accurate and effective. Product Managers are responsible for achievement of revenue objectives.

- Lead cross functional business teams to define short- and long-term product strategy for three areas of product: platform, tactical and strategic applications

Zenoss Senior Support Engineer
- Open Position:
Zenoss is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to join our customer support team as a Senior Support Engineer. In this role you will provide advanced support to customers dealing with complex issues surrounding the use of Zenoss. In addition to providing world-class support to our customers, you will be a subject matter expert and mentor to the front-line support group.
A deep desire to provide excellent customer service coupled with a strong (and broad) technical background will be imperative to succeed at this position.
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Field customer support requests (telephone, web, email), perform problem determination, and deliver solutions
- On-Call (rotation) for Support for Critical Issues (scheduled in advance)
- Develop patches and deliver to customers
- Subject matter expert on Zenoss, network/systems monitoring and related technologies
- Escalate and track higher order issues to Tier 3 (engineering) support
- Interface with engineering to develop and test solutions, incorporate field patches into codebase, and test and install new features
- Assist product management in developing and prioritizing enhancement lists
- Summarize, communicate and escalate customer experiences
- Qualifications include:
- Three or more years' experience providing technical support for enterprise software solutions
- Intermediate (Advanced preferred) understanding of Python
- Experience with systems and network monitoring tools (Zenoss, Nagios, BMC, etc.)
- Two or more years experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Excellent phone and email skills, positive customer-centric attitude
