Adding storage for audit logging

The default configuration of Control Center audit logging requires 10GB of storage in /var/log/serviced on master host nodes. For high-availability deployments, Zenoss recommends mounting remote storage instead of adding local storage to master nodes. Use this procedure to create the mount point.
  1. Log in to the master host as root, or as a user with superuser privileges.
  2. Create a mount point for audit logs.
The default location for serviced audit logs is /var/log/serviced. The location is determined by the SERVICED_LOG_PATH variable in /etc/default/serviced.
    mkdir -p /var/log/serviced
  3. Mount a remote filesystem at /var/log/serviced.
For more information about mounting a remote filesystem, refer to your operating system documentation.
