Zenoss Mashes Up with Google Maps to Visualize Distributed IT Infrastructure

Open Source Vendor also provides Level 3 Network Visualization in easy-to-use AJAX Web Interface

ANNAPOLIS, MD, September 19, 2007 - Zenoss Inc., a leading commercial open source IT management company, today announced that it has added a direct integration with Google Maps and struck a business agreement with Google, Inc. that makes real-time, geographical visualization of the health of distributed IT infrastructure available through Zenoss Core, its free, open source software product. The first-of-its-kind offering brings powerful network management capabilities to the masses.

The Google Maps feature has been added to Zenoss Core version 2.1 which was is now available in Beta. This is one of several new innovative features being added to Zenoss Core, the company's award-winning open source IT management product.

Other advanced features of Zenoss Core 2.1 Beta include:

• Interactive visualization map of network topology using force directed graph layout engine
• Google Maps mash-up for physical visualization of locations and connections between them
• Ajax based, drag and drop Dashboard providing complete customization to users
• Native JMX performance monitoring
• Advanced performance reporting which enables powerful graphical visualization such as multiple device or component data on a single graph.
