Zenoss Releases Turnkey Application, Server, and Network Management Appliances

Zenoss Hardware Appliance and VMware Software Appliance Now Available

ANNAPOLIS, MD, September 13, 2007 - Zenoss Inc., the fastest-growing open source IT management company, today announced the availability of new deployment options with its hardware and software appliance offerings. Both products come pre-configured with Zenoss' award-winning network, server and application monitoring solutions. Software appliance is designed to work in virtual VMware environments.

Zenoss appliances allow organizations to quickly and easily deploy a complete IT monitoring solution. They are ideal for companies of all sizes who are interested in deploying a sophisticated IT management software with minimum IT effort and in a short amount of time. Once deployed, the Zenoss appliances are automatically kept up-to-date with the Zenoss Update Service; a network-based patch and software management service. Zenoss Update Service is available with Zenoss Enterprise Support subscription and it provides companies of all sizes an easy way to maintain an up-to date software configuration for their IT management software.

The Zenoss Hardware Appliance is available in two different configurations to support a range of business and IT needs of customers. The Zenoss Appliance 250 supports up to 250 managed resources. For the larger environments, a single Zenoss Appliance 1000 can be used to monitor up to 1000 resources.

The Zenoss Software Appliance is downloadable and it is pre-configured with a Linux based guest OS and Zenoss Enterprise Edition. It is designed to be used with VMware environments and provides customers maximum flexibility in their hardware platform choices.
