Former Mercury and HP Software Executive Joins Zenoss as VP of Products

Industry Veteran Joins Open Source Provider to Drive Next Generation IT Management Products

ANNAPOLIS, MD, June 19, 2007- Zenoss Inc., the company behind the most popular open source IT monitoring and management solution on Sourceforge.net, today announced that IT industry veteran Murat Aksu has joined its management team as Vice President of Products. In this role, Murat will drive the direction of Zenoss commercial products and lead go-to-market activities.

Aksu joins Zenoss from Mercury/HP Software, where he was the Director of Product Marketing for application delivery solutions, with responsibilities for product strategy, marketing, and external communications. Prior to that role, he headed up Competitive and Market Intelligence, Engagement Management and Pre Sales at Mercury Interactive. Murat has also held several senior level technical management roles at a variety of companies such as Manhattan Associates and Georgia Pacific.
