Former Sourcefire CEO Jackson joins Zenoss board

Exec's open-source software experience touted Former Sourcefire CEO Wayne Jackson III has joined the board of directors for Zenoss Inc., another software firm with aspirations for similar growth.
Jackson left Sourcefire in July after building it for six years to an $86 million initial public offering in 2007, and said he plans to bring his experiences there to help Zenoss. Both companies create networking software that is open-source, meaning anyone can view its code to use or change as they like, and both began as venture capital-backed startups.
