Zenoss Core 2.1.91 (Zenoss 2.2 Beta 2) Available for Download

In anticipation of the Zenoss 2.2 release, the latest packaged version of Zenoss, version 2.1.91 (zenoss-2.2 Beta 2) is available for download. This release continues the 2.2 development cycle and is the second of the beta releases for 2.2. There will be no more feature additions between now and the release only bug fixes.

Please report bugs you find to the forums / mailing lists with the word "BETA" in the subject line. Thanks for helping us make Zenoss a great application!

The biggest fix for this release is the proper loading of the Products database on initial install.

The following tickets have been fixed in Zenoss since the last beta release zenoss-2.1.90:

• 2945 - permission denied on RRD file operations
• 2934 - When trying to add a new IpService from the OS tab of a device the OK button in the popup is greyed out.

User Interface

• 2948 - fix msgbox positioning in firefox 3

• 2229 - event summary for /192.168.1.0 failed
• 2933 - After an event clears I don't get the clear email or clear page?

ZenHub

• 2898 - Make RRDImpl use modular thresholds

ZenModel

• 2926 - AttributeError: getGraphDefs on viewing a user added interface
• 2937 - manufacturers.xml has wrong root id
• 2944 - Migrate script to fix the broken Manufacturers in 2.1.90

ZenStatus

• r8949 - PingConfig failed to load when ping server was not loaded into the database

ZenPack

• 2923 - Make ZenPackLoader._genConfFile() less chatty

ZenUtils

• 2936 - zenbackup fails if $ZENHOME/perf does not exist

zenwin

• 2788 - zeneventlog: Connection to the other side was lost in a non-clean fashion
