Andre Boisvert

Mr. Boisvert has been in the technology field for over 30 years. Boisvert started his career with IBM in 1976 where he spent 13 years. While at IBM, Boisvert held senior management positions in sales, marketing and Research & Development. After leaving IBM, Boisvert held executive positions in some of the best respected software companies in the industry, such as Cognos Corporation and Oracle Corporation where he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and was a member of Oracle's Management committee.

In 2000, Boisvert was recruited to the post of President and COO, SAS Institute Inc, the world's largest privately held software company with revenues exceeding a $1.5 Billion annually, with the mission of bringing the company public. When the plans for an IPO were subsequently abandoned, Boisvert followed one of SAS' investments by becoming Chairman and CEO of Sagent Technologies (NASDAQ: SGNT). In April of 2004, Boisvert successfully completed the sale of Sagent Technologies Inc. to Group 1 Software Inc (NASDAQ:GSOF).

In October 2004, Boisvert co-founded Pentaho Corporation, the world's leading open source business intelligence platform. As Pentaho's Chairman, Boisvert plays an active role in the area of strategic alliances and business development for the company. Boisvert is also a private investor and Chairman of Compiere Inc, the world's leading integrated open source ERP & CRM company and Zenoss Inc., the leading open source Network and System monitoring company. Additionally Boisvert serves on the board of directors of SlickEdit Inc. and UBMatrix Corp.

Boisvert is also active in the venture investment community and as such consults for some of the leading venture firms.

Marty Fredrickson

Marty has over 20 years of experience in technology sales, where his focus has been team building, sales execution and partner strategies. His experience will be available to assist Amplifier's portfolio companies develop their early sales strategies as well as assist management in pre and post investment technology analysis and commercial planning.

Marty is currently the SVP of Sales and Business Development at SailPoint Technologies, and also serves as an Advisory Partner with Mita Group, a technology consulting firm that provides business and corporate development to emerging technology companies. Through mid-2006 Marty was a Vice President at Sun Microsystems, Inc. He was responsible for establishing and directing the sales and operations plan for Sun's Global Identity Practice, a business acquired by Sun in 2003, where he grew revenues from $20 million to the market leading position of almost $200 million in revenues in just 24 months. Marty joined Sun through the acquisition of Waveset Technologies, Inc., a startup software company focused on security solutions, where he was the Vice President of North American Sales and Corporate Alliances. In his role there, he developed and executed a sales and alliance plan that contributed to Waveset becoming the emerging leader in Identity Management, and the subsequent acquisition by Sun.

Prior to his association with Waveset, Marty was an executive with SeeByond Technology Corp., a provider of business integration and web services infrastructure solutions. He was responsible for building and launching business units for both commercial and government sales that helped contribute to a successful IPO in 2000, and ultimately participated in the acquisition and integration of SeeBeyond into Sun Microsystems. Before joining SeeBeyond, he established and led IBM/Tivoli Government Operations from a startup business (pre-IPO) to $200 million in sales in just five years, during which time Tivoli executed a successful IPO and subsequently was acquired by IBM. Other experience includes sales and management positions with Sybase, Informix, and Prime Computer, and prior service in the United States Air Force.

Charles Gold

Charles Gold has over 12 years executive marketing experience in both startup and established software companies in both the commercial and open source domains. Currently he heads up worldwide marketing for DataDirect Technologies, the leader in standards based data connectivity and mainframe integration. He had held senior marketing and product management leadership positions at Appfluent Technology, Red Hat, Akopia, and CyberCash. Mr. Gold holds a bachelors degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA in finance from Wake Forest University.

Michael Harper

Mike Harper has over twenty years of successful experience in general management, sales, marketing and corporate development with both start-ups and large public companies delivering high technology products and services. Mike possesses broad knowledge and experience in establishing new markets, developing new product strategies and growing businesses.

Mike is currently operating his own consulting company, Pathway for Success, LLC., focused on executive and strategy services. He recently completed an engagement as an Interim President for Syfact, Inc., a global software company delivering enterprise software and services for financial crime investigative case management. Prior to Pathway for Success, Mike was President and CEO of BNX Systems a provider of identity and access management solutions providing single sign-on and strong authentication with a particular focus on biometrics. Under his leadership BNX experienced 600% revenue growth and improved net operating results by 250% before being sold to Citibank.

Previously, Mike served as President and general manager of the Enterprise Application Business Unit at USinternetworking, Inc. (USi), where he was responsible for the company's enterprise software ASP offerings. Mike was instrumental in building USi from a startup to the ASP market leader. During his tenure, Mike grew annual revenue in his business unit from zero to approximately $60 million with a contract value in excess of $200 million. Mike's other executive positions at USi included that of chief marketing officer.

Prior to USi, Mike held various management positions at Silicon Graphics and IBM. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Tulane University.

Steve McManus

Steve is a successful entreprenuer and 25-year veteran of the information technology industry who is renowned for building strong long-term relationships with clients, partners and employees.

Prior to Zenoss, Steve was a co-founder of USinternetworking, Inc., the leading privately-held Application Service Provider. In seven years with USi, Steve performed several senior management functions and was instrumental in several of USi's key milestones including: venture financing, successful IPO, rapid growth to over $100M in revenue, and achieving profitability. Most recently, Steve was Vice-Chairman and managed key client and partner relationships.

Prior to USi, Steve was Director of U.S. Sales for Data General's Telecommunications Unit and also served in various sales management roles. Earlier in his career, Steve was with Silicon Graphics where he was responsible for product sales, and partnerships with key software and integration partners in the Mid-Altantic.

Steve earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Relations from Northeastern University.

Michele Perry

Michele joined Sourcefire in March of 2004 and serves as its Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, Michele is responsible for overseeing all of Sourcefire's marketing and product management functions, including branding, public relations and lead generation. A 20 year marketing and business executive, Michele will drive Sourcefire's branding and marketing campaigns and establish programs that contribute to the growth of the company's customer base.

Previously, Michele held senior marketing and management positions at USinternetworking, Software AG and IBM, as well as operating her own strategic marketing and business development consultancy, MPB Strategies, which specialized in providing consulting and strategy services to fast growing companies. At USinternetworking, she led her team in creating a new business category which contributed to the company's efforts to complete an initial public offering (IPO) and drive first year contracts to $158M.

Michele holds a BS from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School), and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jim Stalder

Jim Stalder has been involved in many different aspects of the technology industry for over 20 years. Since March 2009, he has been the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Beryl Companies in Bedford, Texas. Beryl is an award winning healthcare call center connecting millions of patients each year with healthcare providers.

Previously, Jim was the CIO for six years at Mercy Health Services - a $600M healthcare provider headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Jim was responsible for the technology strategy for Mercy's acute care hospital, dozens of physician practices, and a long term care facility. He led Mercy through the implementation of several new clinical systems, including electronic medical records, PACS, and barcoded bedside medication administration.

Prior to the health care industry, Jim held leadership positions at USinternetworking and Digex - where he was primarily responsible for strategy and product development. At Digex and USinternetworking, Jim was responsible for developing and launching several product lines which contributed to both organizations completing initial public offerings. Jim also spent several years at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) working with large scale custom application development projects in the telecommunications industry.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.

Aaron Velli

Aaron Velli is a partner in the Cooley Godward Kronish Business department. He joined the Firm in 1999 and is resident in the Firm's Washington, DC office.

Mr. Velli's practice encompasses the representation of emerging growth companies and investors in such companies in various corporate and securities transactions. As a member of the Firm's Venture Capital practice group, Mr. Velli maintains particular expertise in the formation and operation of private equity investment partnerships, including securities laws matters, partnership terms and relevant tax, accounting and other regulatory considerations. His experience includes venture capital financings, private and public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions and credit finance.

Mr.Velli is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center where he teaches Venture Capital Finance. Mr. Velli has also lectured at George Mason Law School, University of Maryland Business School and Vanderbilt University Business School and is a regular speaker at private equity conferences.

Prior to joining Cooley Godward Kronish, Mr. Velli was an associate in the Corporate/Securities group at Andrews & Kurth L.L.P. in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Velli received a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1993, where he served as a senior editor of the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues and a B.A. from Brown University in 1990.

Mr. Velli is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland and before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Mr. Velli is a member of the American Bar Association's Business Section and Chairs the Fund Formation subcommittee of its Venture Capital and Private Equity Committee.

Ab Krall

Albert (Ab) Krall spent over 27 years in IT and Management consulting with Accenture, holding leadership positions in client portfolio management, large-scale SI delivery, internal operations management, improvement of SI delivery techniques and quality improvement. Ranked in the top tier of Accenture executives in leadership surveys, Mr. Krall led some of Accenture's largest and most complex technology delivery projects. His global consulting experience involved directing multi-year programs in Japan and Australia, which were closely supported by offshore delivery centers in India, China and the Philippines. Mr. Krall concentrated his efforts in the telecommunications industry, where he spent 20 years working with large, incumbent telcos and aggressive start-up ventures.

Mr. Krall earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, where he now participates on the Dean’s Board Of Advisors.
