Mark Hinkle, VP of Community for Zenoss, is presenting in a session titled “Open Source Tool Chains for Managing the Cloud” at LinuxCon North America on Thursday, August 12th at 11:30 AM.
Since joining Zenoss in 2006, Mark has become the driving force of Zenoss’ community adoption and involvement and has increased membership to over 85,000 members. Mark recently contributed to Linux.com’s “SysAdmin Toolbox” series with his column on Open Source Tool Chains, which outlines the changes DevOps and Agile are bringing to the IT Infrastructure. Mark will be speaking about the challenges presented by IT management operations personnel and how to use open source tools to manage cloud infrastructure. The presentation will cover options for organizing and integrating tools that provision, configure, coordinate and monitor cloud as well as physical infrastructure.
